Kim Johnson is the owner of Funk It Up Interiors in Las Vegas, NV.  Kim is the only interior designer in Las Vegas who follows a ten step process that takes you from consultation to concept quickly on time and on budget. Kim and her team solve their client's concerns of how to have a beautiful home to live in, yet a functional space where a family can live without plastic over the sofas!  Kim brings her own "out of the box" style to each and every project and guides her clients in finding their own style through her magnetic personality and her eye for what's really behind a client's hopes and dreams for their home....Kim's perfect mixture of modern, contemporary, traditional and vintage design is unique and fun, yet calm and functional.  Kim is fearlessly creative and nurturing at the same time.  She will surprise you when you least expect it!

     Kim specializes in luxury modern homes in Las Vegas, vacation homes, boutique businesses, and professional offices. In addition, Kim's clients love to utilize her talents at the beginning of new construction to collaborate with architects and builders to help see their vision through from the dirt lot to decor!      Kim Johnson was brought up in the world of creativity and interior design.  She has been known to say that her earliest memories as a child were wallpapering and moving furniture around with her mom in the middle of the night.  Kim's mother had a home decor and flower shop growing up and Kim spent her childhood designing right alongside her talented mother doing home decor, weddings and event styling.  While working in her mother's store, Kim learned many skills such as home design, space planning, color consultation, floral arranging and design, and wedding and event planning.   Kim perfected her skills in these areas until she went off to college to BYU where she continued her creativity helping roommates with their apartments, professors with their homes, and styling weddings and events all while going to school.  Now, after a wonderful marriage and 6 kids later, Kim and her mother, Kathi work together again! Kim is the principle interior designer and Funk It Up visionary while Kathi, her mother is right alongside her as the office manager and senior designer.  They both wake up every day happy to help their clients navigate through their own design journeys and love every second of the interior design business once again!
